Referring to the information published on the BNS Internet site on December 11, the JSC “Liepājas Metalurgs” confirms that signing of the financing agreements for the Phase-II of the modernization program of the Company will occur in the year of 2009. These arrangements will attract the long-term financing in the amount of approximately EUR 68 million and a commercial loan in the amount of EUR 17 million. The modernization of the Company’s meltshop is the necessary requirement for the continuation of the Company’s operation and secury of jobs availability.
